Chinese parents are faced with a difficult question of where and when to send their child abroad to receive the best education they can afford. There are many choices available such as the US, UK and Australia.  Australia and UK schools are very good but relatively easier to gain admittance.  US schools are more difficult and challenging to gain admittance, but can be more rewarding.  This is why so many companies market UK and Australia, it is an easier sell. 

It is more difficult to get into a US school but the value of that degree is worth more on the market especially if you are pursuing one of the top 20 schools.  If you look beyond the degree lays a complex network of alumni and other organizations that help and promote students to obtain premium employment.  This embellishes the school as it does the graduate.  One enhances the other.

Preparation for attending schools abroad should start in 11year of school, or even earlier. Proper preparation of a student allows a smooth and successful transition into an American school.  Above 13 year will require more steadfast work and preparation to assist the child to study abroad.
